Gallery Gachet and Oppenheimer Park (the Carnegie Community Centre Association) are expanding their creative partnership to design Art Cart! Two carts will be built to serve both the Oppenheimer Park Community’s artists and Gallery Gachet artists, creating all weather/year round, transformable mobile art gallery/vending carts.

Made possible through the City of Vancouver’s Great Beginnings Program, and Creative Pathways – a Community Arts Council of Vancouver project, Gallery Gachet and Oppenheimer Park have been funded for Phase 1 of the Art Cart Project – to create designs for art carts for Oppenheimer and Gachet. Phase 11, the building of the carts is scheduled for completion in mid 2011.
