Litany Queer Reading Series

Litany Queer Reading Series
Sunday April 7th, 7:00 – 10:00 pm

Litany is a quarterly reading series showcasing emerging and established queer writers in Vancouver, BC, Unceded Coast Salish Territories. Each evening is a cozy, safer-space affair that celebrates the complexity of our queer worlds and words.

Litany Reading Series aims to support and showcase emerging and established LGBT2QI writers through a quarterly reading series with an anti-oppressive framework. We’re committed to radical inclusion in our series, recognizing that access to the world of writing, literacy, and even queerness continues to be limited. We acknowledge that we’re writing and reading on Unceded Coast Salish Territories. We commit to holding our events in physically and financially accessible spaces, providing accessibility information and trigger warnings, and doing all we can to create a safer space — bring your suggestions! Check your assumptions at the door; Litany is a body-positive, anti-racist, anti-sexist, and hella queer- and trans-positive event.
