Street Art Workshop with Greg Stone

The street: the ultimate low-barrier art gallery.

Thursday, October 9th, 6.00 – 9.00pm

Repeating at 2nd and 4th Thursdays on the month, at 6pm
This workshop series explores the theory and practice behind street art. We will discuss the different perceptions of street art and learn about and practice different street art techniques from stenciling, spray painting and wheatpasting. This is a peer-led workshop, not a lecture! No fees and materials will be supplied.

Workshop 1 – Thursday, October 9th, 6.00 – 9.00pm
Discussion and street art walk
Group will discuss significance and perceptions of street art. Then a walk around the neighborhood to see what’s going on the walls of the DTES.
