Kaleidoscope Cabinet of Couch Curiosities: A performance presented in conjunction with Oddities
Sunday, February 22nd, 7.00-9.00pm
Join us for an event not to be missed.
In conjunction with Oddities, Collective Member Rebecca Chunn and collaborator Nathan Slattery will perform using live action mark making, sound, movement and speech. “Kaleidoscope Cabinet of Couch Curiosities” is a 45 minute art performance piece that explores the theme of “Oddities” in gender roles and expression within intimate relationships.
There will be a Question and Answer period following the performance.
“The final scene is here and she oddity wakes you up. Even though she is semi sleeping. Doesn’t say a word, no not a word from her….He the dream catcher has something to say to the audience. Have you ever had a dream, you wake up and you want to tell some one, that epic, ballad, romantic, Shangri-La story, enjoy this mind, maple leaf, ice-cream melt up.”
