Tully’s paintings consist of bright colour, shape and line, which weave together to create dynamic depth in these works on paper. Her two-dimensional compositions meander across the surface as if the paint dances across the surface to a silent melody.

Tully’s paintings consist of bright colour, shape and line, which weave together to create dynamic depth in these works on paper. Her two-dimensional compositions meander across the surface as if the paint dances across the surface to a silent melody. The viewer finds herself in a maze in which there is no escaping, but the goal is not completion but experience of the journey. You are entering a space saturated with energy; each detail is intentional and part of the grander puzzle.

Michelle Tully is a mother of two and has an 8-year old grandson. Michelle began working at an early age, left school to help her family in grade 10. She has always been interested in art and is now pleased to share the energy, colour and line, which she has been cultivating for over a year but is exhibiting here for the first time.
