Zin Reading and Discussion Group

Sunday, May 17th 1-3pm

when language runs dry: a zine for people with chronic pain and their allies
zine reading and discussion group facilitated by Aja Rose Bond

“Finding good information and meaningful dialog about chronic pain can be challenging. Many of the resources out there are very clinical, too general, or are written from outside the pain experience. There are few voices by folks with chronic pain about their struggles and how they keep living as full of a life as possible. This zine attempts to begin to fill the empty space with a diversity of voices telling their stories.” From when language runs dry

As part of the Un Quiet Bodies exhibition, Aja Rose Bond will be facilitating a discussion of selected readings from this series of 4 zines. Copies of the selected readings will be provided and folks will be invited to read aloud
to each other, be read to, discuss their own experiences or just listen. All are welcome.
