A fashion show featuring the designs of Shannon Johnson
Friday, Oct 27th 7–9pm | EWMA 800 E Hastings (at Hawk)
You may have seen Shannon’s designs around the neighbourhood. Her highly stylized cat and flower designs have been featured in the Oppenheimer Park Art show and on T–shirts for DTES community events.
If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on one of Shannon’s highly sought after designs, this is an event you won’t want to miss!
Though a Vancouver Foundation Small Arts grant, and with a little help from her friends at the Downtown Community Health Centre and Gallery Gachet, Shannon has produced a new line of T–shirts, tote bags, hats and patches!
Help Shannon celebrate at a fashion show. There will be food, a DJ and merchandise available for sale. All funds raised will go to Shannon to invest in her designs and merchandise.
