This community panel discussion accompanies the current exhibition ELBO.

Along with the wide range of subject matter in Laurie Marshall’s practice, a fascinating theme of his work is his representations of individuals in the DTES. These representations are heavily tied to Gachet’s mandate of demystifying the lived experiences of people in the DTES and showcasing artworks that contribute to humanizing and recognizing the agency of these individuals.
