Art Toys: Making Belief is a group exhibtion featuring artists who create art objects that are toys, toy-like or related to toys and play. Many of these objects embody or mimmick children?s playthings, and explore adult themes of fantasy, fear and mischief. The artists challenge our perception of these objects as toys and as works of art.  One of the featured elements is a Sacred Toys installation comprised of original childhood toys which have survived years and taken on heightened resonance.

While Art Toys is mostly a “big kids” show, we are also opening up the gallery to children on December 16 for Artswirl.
