It was a night to remember…

Last Thursday, March 24th the gallery came alive with performances for A Night to Remember, and an incredible ceremonial air filtered through the space. The night consisted of performances by Russell Wallace and his drumming group, Dallas, Montana King and the Narwhal Whale Group!

Dallas performed in loving memory of her daughter, Ember who died much too young due to complications from drug addiction. March 24th was her birthday and we felt her presence that night in the gallery.

It was a very fun night, informal, a few hiccups here and there in true Gachet style, but overall it was heart-warming, and a good ceremonial remembering of people lost and the struggles we face. Big thank you to all our volunteers and members who helped with the night and a special thank you to Karen Ward, who hosted with aplomb!

Both Dallas and Montana’s shows close this coming Sunday April 3rd, so if you haven’t already had a chance at seeing both of their moving exhibits, please come down to Gachet, weds – sun, 12- 6pm. And don’t forget to watch the Dallas’s “Ceremony” video inside of the lodge!
