The West Coast Mental Health Network are looking for artists to create painted eye glass cases for this event. Here is their call out to artists…
Dear Artist
Would you consider contributing to our community of former and current psychiatric patients by painting an eye glass case?
We were given 200 hard clamshell style eyeglass cases, which we decided to paint and decoupage and then sell to raise money for our 17 year-old organization.
Once decorated, we will auction off the cases at our fundraising event on February 24, 2013. Your painted cases would be on display along with a write-up about you.
You and your artwork will be featured in our Networker publication, promoted at the event, on our website and in e-mails to our membership and the press.
PARTICIPATE
Contact Adrianne Fitch at 604-733-5570 or via e-mail at office@wcmhn.org
We have cases to pick up at our office or we can deliver a case to you along with a questionnaire to help us prepare your promotional write-up (if you don’t have one prepared).
Cases are be COMPLETED AND VARNISHED by February 15, 2013
