Technology Workshops
Gallery Gachet Technology Workshops with Cara Seccafien and Jenny Lee are back in January.
The technology workshops at Gachet have been very popular so far. Because we have a limited number of computers with Adobe Software available, registration is suggested for all future technology workshops, including Introduction to Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Editing Photos in Photoshop. Register by phone 604 687 2468 Tue–Fri 12–6 or in person. Please do not register if you are not certain that you can attend.
Photoshop | January 13th, 23rd and 27th
Learn the basics of experimenting with Photoshop. In this workshop, we will go over the Photoshop workspace and some tools panel essentials. We will practice using tools with hands-on exercises. Free and open to everyone. No experience required.
Indesign |January 16th
Learn the basics of text and image layout with Indesign. In this workshop, we will go over the Indesign workspace and some tools, and practice making a poster. Free and open to everyone. No experience required.
WordPress | January 20th
Learn how to create a website or blog! In this workshop, we will create a website or blog hosted by WordPress.com. Free and open to everyone. No experience required.
Illustrator | January 30th
Learn the basics of experimenting with Illustrator. In this workshop, we will practice drawing vector graphics using pen and shape tools. This is a useful skill for anyone interested in creating a logo or branding. Free and open to everyone. No experience required.
