Gallery Gachet Technology Workshops with Cara Seccafien and Jenny Lee in February.

The technology workshops at Gachet have been very popular so far. Because we have a limited number of computers with Adobe Software available, registration is suggested for all future technology workshops, including Introduction to Photoshop, InDesign, and Editing Photos in Photoshop. Register by phone 604 687 2468  Tue–Fri 12–6 or in person. Please do not register if you are not certain that you can attend.

Intro to Photoshop |
Wed, Feb 11th, 1-3pm
Learn the basics of experimenting with Photoshop. In this workshop, we will go over the Photoshop workspace and some tools panel essentials. We will practice using tools with hands-on exercises. Free and open to everyone. No experience required.

Intro to InDesign |
Tue, Feb 3rd, 2-4pm
Learn the basics of text and image layout with Indesign. In this workshop, we will go over the Indesign workspace and some tools, and practice making a poster. Free and open to everyone. No experience required.

Editing Photos in Photoshop | Tue, Feb 17th, 2-4pm and Wed, Feb 25th, 2-4pm
In this more intermediate workshop, we will learn to use key adjustment layers and basic photo retouching tools. Learn to crop, resize, and adjust light levels of your images. Registration suggested. Free.

Open Lab For Previous Workshop Participants | Thu, Feb 5th, 6-8pm, Thu, Feb 12th, 6-8pm, Thu, Feb 26th, 6-8pm
This open lab time is for those who have participated in previous workshops and would like practice time on the Adobe programs or WordPress.com. Workshop-specific questions are welcome. Practice exercises will be provided. Registration suggested. Free.
