Planning Session & Launch of the Oppen-Art Studio

The Oppenheimer Park Community Art Show 2013 Planning Session & Launch of the Oppen-Art Studio Drop-In. Friday February 8th, 10am – noon, at Oppenheimer Park. Calling out to our community to come plan and develop this year’s theme, title, exhibition design and installation, parade, opening night, talks and workshops.

The Oppenheimer Park Community Art Show

The Oppenheimer Park Community Art Show began in 2008 in anticipation of the changes, challenges and loss in a pre-Olympic city. It presented an opportunity to recognize the existing neighbourhood, and its residents and members who play important and active roles in creating community and who draw on their histories despite challenges and struggles.
