Come celebrate the season and the year’s accomplishments with Gallery Gachet this weekend and throughout December at the Gachet Sale. Our party Friday, Dec. 2, 7-10pm, kicks off the celebrations.

Our holiday sales weekend is not just a chance to purchase affordable artwork, says organizer and Gachet board member Zola Novak. It’s a celebration of a year’s worth of art, healing, and growth.

Friday’s opening reception will feature a live harpist. Come to view the selection of art and craft priced affordably for all budgets ? and celebrate with the artists.

The sale continues Saturday and Sunday, 12-6pm. Then, during Gachet’s regular exhibit, you can still come to view and buy an assortment of art from a diverse range of local artists. On Dec. 17, there will also be a panel discussion: “Fine Art vs Craft: Does commercialization affect art?” Vancouver artists and representatives from galleries and other organizations will discuss.

In 2005, Gallery Gachet partnered with more organizations than ever before. It also secured space for expansion, with a 29 West Hastings studio opening soon.
