Enlighten Therapy is a mind expanding navigation that involves connectivity, mobility and decision making, while engaging ephemeral moments of stargazing, celestial constellation and individual yet social interactivity. A site-specific synesthesia participatory installation for Gallery Gachet, it embraces the fluidity of change and chance with a subtext signifying mindfulness in relation to the presence of others.

Judy Jheung’s work involves the continuous experimentation and investigation of perceptual reality in the realm of social/urban movements. Installations she constructs are interactive, rendering in a form that propels the audience into a journey. By organizing sensory environments in public spaces, Jheung instigates situations and exchanges, inviting individuals and groups to participate in collaborative experiences while establishing their codes of social dynamic.

Presently, Vancouver based, Judy Jheung holds a BFA from University of Calgary and an MFA from Pratt Institute, New York. Her work has been exhibited across Canada, Asia and Europe. Reviews of her work appeared in Canadian Art Magazine, the Globe and Mail and Yishu magazine, etc. Her on-going project, Love is in the Air (2000- present) was selected for the 9th Havana Biennial. freeLink (2006) a real-time teleportation portal was staged at Surrey Art Gallery, TechLab. Her multi-component participatory project, Mind of a City, has been featured internationally at Artist-in-Residency programs/exhibitions.

“Isomorphism” is a strategic math-game being featured in “Enlighten Therapy” that incites situations for reflection, intellectual pursuit and harmony. Jheung previously developed Isomorphism for site/event specific venues including performance, web art and interactive installations.
