WEAVE – Curator Rose Spahan, featuring women from DEWC

New work from local women artists and participants in the DTES Women’s Centre’s arts program. Rose Spahan has worked as an artist-in-residence at the Centre, (located just 100 feet east of Gallery Gachet.) WEAVE stands for Women Engaged in the Arts, Vision, and Empowerment.

This WEAVE exhibition features works by Helen William, Tracey Morrison, Diane Letchuk, Adrienne McCallum, as well as work produced by other women in Tara Carmichael’s Art Workshops.

Threads of Gastown:

A fundraising event for WEAVE will be held in conjunction with the exhibition, at the nearby Alibi Room, 157 Alexander Street, November 20, 7pm. The event features local designers and artists, including Hunt and Gather, Discollection, and Red Flag Designs.
