Oppenheimer Park Art Workshop Series

This August, join Kat & Indigo at Oppenheimer park for a variety of art activities relating to community care and exploring what ‘opening up means to you’. For each workshop, attendees are encouraged to bring their curiosities forward to co-create an art making theme. Works created during this workshop series may be submitted to the upcoming 15th Annual Oppenheimer Park Community Art Show running September 5th – October 7th. Art materials will be provided free of charge.

Attendees and artists alike are encouraged to submit works to the 15th Annual Oppenheimer Park Community Art Show. Deadline for submissions is September 2nd. In efforts to minimize barriers, submissions are not reviewed by a jury and artists are invited to drop by Gallery Gachet during open hours Tuesday – Saturday / 12pm – 6pm to submit their work. Participating artists will receive an artist fee of $125 at the end of the exhibition. Additionally, artists have the option of listing their work for public sale during the exhibition.
